DEGREES OF COMPARISON
Degrees of Comparison are used to compare one thing with another based on quality or quantity.
There are three degrees of comparison:
1. Positive Degree (साधारण रूप)It shows the simple quality of a noun without any comparison.
Example: Ram is tall. (राम लंबा है।)
2. Comparative Degree (तुलनात्मक रूप)
It is used to compare two persons or things.
Usually formed by adding -er to the adjective or using more before it.
Example: Ram is taller than Shyam. (राम श्याम से लंबा है।)
3. Superlative Degree (सर्वोत्कृष्ट रूप)
It is used to show that one person or thing is better than all others.
Formed by adding -est to the adjective or using most before it.
Example: Ram is the tallest boy in the class. (राम कक्षा में सबसे लंबा लड़का है।)
Regular Adjectives (Add -er and -est)

3. Clean (साफ़) → Cleaner → Cleanest
